Search Engine Secret For Success – Shhh… Don’t Tell

Posted on June 28, 2012 by Jen Miller for Needsomeonetoblog.com

Be Seen in Search Engines NeedSomeoneToBlog.comWant to Know the Search Engine Secret for Success?

Before sharing the coveted search engine secret, let’s take a look at why you are here.  You’re on my website because you care.  You care about your blog. you care about your website and most importantly you care about your business!  Well – that’s it, that’s the secret… ownership.  You have taken ownership.  You are highly invested in your results on a minute by minute basis and THAT more than anything can propel you to the front page of any search engine you choose.

Ownership

Sounds simple, doesn’t it?  It’s not!  To take ownership of your blog, to ensure safe blog posts, to provide relevant content – you need to have a passion for it.  As a business owner, your passion should be dedicated to your products, your people, your business, not your blog.  That’s why it makes sense to have a trusted source who feels ownership for your internet presence.

Here’s a warning – that can be very difficult to find these days.  “Ghost” bloggers and ghostwriters may not take the time to understand your business or you.  They may not care enough or have the right tool set.  I do.

When I accept you as a client, you get a fully invested professional writer as well as someone who cares about your success.  I don’t believe in marginal success – if I am going to devote my effort into your internet presence – it needs to be worthwhile, for you and for me.  I personally don’t like “waiting” for search engine success to happen.

When I bought the domain for NeedSomeoneToBlog.com, almost a month ago, I was committed and a bit adventurous.  I decided that I was going to use my company website and safe blog posts as an experiment where I could apply everything I know about search engines, original website content, and social media.  I have dedicated my time and effort into developing relevant content (blog posts, video, images, etc) to show you, through example, that unique content really does matter.  So you could see search engine success.  In less than a month, NeedSomeoneToBlog.com has more than ten pages at the top of search engine results using relevant keywords.

In fact, you may have found the website through Google, Yahoo, Bing, or Alexa in an organic search.  At least that’s what the Need Someone To Blog analytics reports illustrate.  You may also be a direct referral via the Facebook page, a post on Twitter or YouTube, or even an excited client, and that’s fantastic!  Especially since we’ve just started the process.

NeedSomeoneToBlog.com was crawled by search engines for the first time on June 11, 2012.  The results reported above were as of June 27. 2012.  That was fast- 17 days??!!!

As background, these results were achieved without the purchase of AdWords, with no significant backlinks and on a domain that is brand spanking new.  All of these additions could have helped, had they been used in the experiment. So, how is NeedSomeoneToBlog.com showing up with relevant keywords on page 1 of Google, Yahoo & Bing? What is the underlying search engine secret?

It’s all about 100% original content, which is why you need blogging.  It’s about choosing the right keywords and domain.  But mostly, it’s about ownership – the secret to search engine success.  Try it yourself.

Own Your Blog – Own Your Success!
