Making Your Blog Posts Real

Blog posts need video

As a small business owner, it can be hard to know where to start when it comes to your business blog. Defining your audience may come easily, however, understanding what you can share on your blog posts without getting too technical seems to be a challenge.  As a small business, you and your team are excited about your offerings and understand them well, but does that mean your company blog posts are easy to read?

It may be helpful to outsource your business blogging to a ghost blogger.  Whether you choose a company like or a trusted source within your company to create safe blog posts, you’ll find that they can add meaning to your products and services.  You can also link your blog posts to social media pages in Google Places, Facebook, Yelp, Twitter, Pinterest and YouTube to further your ability to be seen by your clients.

Many entrepreneurs like to add videos and photos to their blogs which actually show them at work.  It brings your customer a little closer and, well, feels more personable.  The young entrepreneur featured below in “Sharing What You Do Through Video” has the right idea.  He explains what he does and then brings his viewer on a tour to get an in-depth look of the process.  There may not be much of a market for his particular product, but I can guarantee you that his video will catch his clients’ interest. Video blogging can be quite fun, too!
